Jay Mattier is the President of J. Mattier & Associates (JMA), a Business and Financing Coaching Firm. His focus is on providing Business and Financial Coaching to individuals, couples and small-to-mid size businesses. Jay has been in the coaching & consulting business for over 10 years. He is the former Vice President of Business Development and Technology for The Martin Luther King, Jr. Business Empowerment Center. Jay coordinated and managed the daily activities of a U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Business Information Center and Entrepreneurial Training Programs. He has worked with and provided coaching assistance to over 3000 clients as well as clients from Russia, Italy and Africa through the International Center of Worcester. Jay was awarded the SBA District Director’s Award for outstanding service in Boston.
Jay has served on the Business Advisory Board at Quinsigamond Community College; is a former member of the WPI Venture Forum and served on the University of Phoenix Massachusetts’ Business Advisory Committee. Jay is the former Loan Fund Chairman for the Worcester Community Housing Resource Center and the Worcester Home Ownership Center. Jay is a founding Board Member of the New Markets Entrepreneurial Fund and a c coach for the Inner City (ICE) Entrepreneurs. Jay is a certified NexLevel for Entrepreneurship trainer from Penn Sate University.
